Take the time to nurture yourself.

•Therapy for Therapists + Creatives in Washington State•

You don’t have to continue to feel worn out and stuck.

Therapy is a way to get back in touch with yourself: your values, your goals, and the kind of life you want to life. With compassionate, non-judgmental support, I help sensitive, creative people break free from anxiety, trauma, burnout, overwhelm, and more.

Does any of this sound familiar?

  • You spend so much time and energy caring for others, yet struggle to make time for yourself.

  • Your thoughts and emotions can feel overwhelming, impacting your mood, energy, sleep, and other things.

  • You feel creatively and/or professionally stuck and need help with how to proceed with your plans and projects.

  • You have a marginalized identity and you are concerned that you won’t be truly seen and understood by a therapist.

  • You struggle with your relationship with food and with your body.

  • Experiences from your past haunt you, and you find it hard to get unstuck from memories and beliefs.

  • You don't know what exactly you need to work on or what the shape of therapy could be. You want direction and feedback in your therapy work, with clear ideas and practices for moving forward.

Are you ready?

My therapy practice focuses on providing compassion-focused support to creative individuals who feel stuck and overwhelmed, offering you a space where you can take time for yourself and learn helpful, effective methods you can bring to your daily life. Our work could focus on healing past traumas, improving current relationships, and/or helping you work towards specific, meaningful goals.

Therapy can help:

  • Reduce anxiety

  • Increase coping skills

  • Address trauma recovery

  • Assist you with issues with food, body, eating disorders

  • Provide support and concrete tools to help with grief, burnout, and overwhelm

You don’t have to continue to feel stuck.

Megan O’Laughlin, LICSW, MFA

Therapist + Consultant.

Hi there! I’m Megan. I use she/they pronouns. I’m an artist, writer, therapist, supervisor, and consultant. Most of all, I’m a person trying to create a meaningful life in an overwhelming world, just like you. I identify as queer, neurodivergent, and my values are rooted in anti-oppression and liberation for all.

I work with intelligent overthinkers, sensitive dreamers, depleted caregivers, blocked creatives, and folks who want to take their lives back from anxiety and depletion.

My goal is to provide a warm and curious perspective into what’s going on in your life and then offer specific, helpful strategies you can try. My integrated approach means that I pull from various techniques and modalities, designing our work to fit your needs, interests, and learning style. I have a direct and compassionate communication style, and past clients and supervisees have said they find me easy to talk to and down-to-earth.
